Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and material handling tasks with precision
- Operate heavy machinery (forklifts, excavators) under certified supervision
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and project specifications
- Assist carpenters and masons in framing, concrete pouring, and finishing
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain clean, organized job sites with proper waste disposal
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet tight deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial construction experience required
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement proficiency
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Flexibility for weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday, 6am-6pm)
- Pass background check and drug screening
