Responsibilities
- Execute foundational construction tasks including site preparation, excavation, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently per OSHA standards
- Assist skilled trades (carpentry, masonry, welding) with precision measurements and installations
- Maintain clean, organized job sites while adhering to safety protocols
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
- Complete daily progress reports and inventory management
- Participate in team briefings and quality assurance checks
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on construction labor experience in commercial/residential projects
- OSHA 10/30 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Proficiency in power tools (saws, drills, grinders) and measuring instruments
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions
- Basic blueprint reading and math skills for material calculations
- Strong teamwork ethic and punctuality record
- Pass background check and drug screening
