Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain heavy machinery including excavators, bulldozers, and jackhammers
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Assist carpenters, masons, and electricians with material preparation and installation
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized job sites
- Perform site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and concrete pouring
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure project standards are met
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain project timelines
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Proficiency with hand tools and power equipment
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
