Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including concrete pouring, framing, demolition, and site preparation
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts) and power tools with precision and safety
- Adhere to OSHA standards and maintain clean, organized job sites
- Collaborate with supervisors and tradespeople to meet project deadlines
- Inspect materials and equipment for compliance with blueprints and specifications
- Assist in scaffolding installation and structural framing
- Document work progress and report safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on construction experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Class B CDL preferred (training provided)
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical schematics
- Strong mechanical aptitude and equipment maintenance skills
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Drug-free workplace compliance mandatory
