Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and setting up equipment
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) safely and efficiently
- Load/unload materials and assist skilled tradespeople with tasks
- Follow strict OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work areas
- Read blueprints and follow project specifications accurately
- Assist in concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks
- Complete daily reports and maintain tool inventory
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial construction experience
- Valid O-10 card or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of power tools and construction materials
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Detroit/Ohio
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
