Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to blueprints and safety standards
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools
- Inspect and test electrical systems to ensure compliance with local and national regulations (NEC)
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and clients to deliver efficient project solutions
- Train apprentices and junior electricians on best practices and safety protocols
- Prepare detailed reports for system inspections and maintenance activities
- Manage inventory and order materials for upcoming projects
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/residential electrical experience with valid Texas Journeyman Electrician license
- Proven expertise in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- OSHA 10-hour certification and knowledge of NFPA 70E safety standards
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work independently in diverse environments
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Familiarity with smart home automation and renewable energy systems preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
