Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and drainage systems
- Diagnose plumbing issues using advanced diagnostic tools and provide efficient solutions
- Interpret blueprints and technical specifications to ensure code-compliant installations
- Perform emergency plumbing services with professionalism and minimal disruption
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance for residential and commercial clients
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate projects and maintain workflow efficiency
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work sites
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional plumbing experience with verifiable references
- Valid District of Columbia plumbing license or ability to obtain immediately
- Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes, regulations, and best practices
- Proficiency in installing/repairing water heaters, boilers, and complex piping systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces
- Customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills
