Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential/commercial properties
- Diagnose complex pipe leaks, clogs, and fixture malfunctions
- Perform backflow prevention testing and water heater installations
- Adhere to DC plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Manage project timelines and client communication
- Mentor junior technicians and apprentices
- Prepare detailed service reports and invoices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/residential plumbing experience
- Valid DC Master Plumber license (or reciprocity-eligible)
- OSHA 10-hour certification required
- Proficiency in trenchless pipe repair and hydro-jetting
- Strong diagnostic skills for water/sewer line issues
- Clean driving record and valid Class C license
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
