Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and directing equipment
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling and site logistics
- Operate hand/power tools safely (saws, drills, jackhammers) per OSHA standards
- Read and interpret blueprints to execute tasks accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas throughout shifts
- Adhere to all safety protocols and report hazards immediately
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction or labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work in diverse weather conditions (heat, cold, rain)
- Team player with clear communication skills
