Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Follow blueprints and instructions from supervisors for precise execution
- Maintain clean, organized job sites with proper safety protocols
- Assist skilled tradesmen with carpentry, masonry, and framing tasks
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to OSHA and local safety regulations at all times
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or related labor experience
- Valid O-10 card or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic understanding of construction tools and equipment
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with reliable transportation
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- OSHA 10 certification preferred (will provide training)
