Responsibilities
- Architect comprehensive 2026 strategic vision through horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario modeling
- Develop predictive frameworks for quantum computing adoption, AI governance, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into executable product roadmaps
- Produce high-impact reports and presentations for executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs for future-tech R&D
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and regulatory changes affecting long-term tech strategy
- Mentor junior futurists and build internal foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional scenario planning and trend analysis capabilities with published thought leadership
- Deep understanding of global tech policy and ethical frameworks
- Experience presenting complex future concepts to C-suite audiences
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFTR, APF) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful strategic initiatives implemented
