Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 technology and societal foresight framework using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional strategy sessions to align organizational capabilities with future market demands
- Produce executive-grade foresight reports and visualizations translating complex future states into actionable roadmaps
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government bodies, and think tanks to pioneer future-focused initiatives
- Drive innovation sprints to prototype and validate solutions addressing 2026's most critical challenges
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and thought leadership summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or equivalent with 8+ years in strategic planning
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year future-focused strategies in Fortune 500 or high-growth tech environments
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies, scenario planning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures into compelling narratives for diverse stakeholders
