Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech, economic, and societal trends to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026+
- Develop scenario-planning models for quantum adoption, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Lead innovation workshops with R&D, product, and design teams to prototype future solutions
- Present strategic foresight reports to investors and board members with data-driven narratives
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks for trend validation
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness across organizational functions
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Portfolio demonstrating trend analysis for 2020-2025 with 85%+ accuracy
- Expertise in scenario modeling using tools like Delphi method or causal layered analysis
- Published thought leadership on emerging tech disruption (IEEE, HBR, etc.)
- Experience in agile/lean methodologies for prototyping future concepts
- Strong proficiency in data visualization (Tableau, Power BI) and AI trend analysis
- Ability to simplify complex futures for executive stakeholders
