Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap with measurable KPIs
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing AI/ML, quantum computing, and biotech solutions
- Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence to identify disruptive opportunities
- Secure $5M+ in R&D funding through strategic partnerships and grants
- Present innovation strategies to C-suite and board stakeholders quarterly
- Champion agile methodologies and rapid prototyping cycles
- Oversee IP portfolio development and patent strategy
- Mentor junior innovators through structured development programs
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech innovation with 5+ years in strategic leadership
- Proven track record of scaling commercialized innovations (portfolio required)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business with specialization in innovation
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants and venture capital
- Certified Scrum Master or PMP with experience in tech innovation
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Fluency in innovation frameworks (e.g., Stage-Gate, TRIZ, Blue Ocean Strategy)
