Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including site prep, demolition, and material handling
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Assist skilled tradesmen (carpenters, masons, electricians) with project requirements
- Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety standards
- Perform quality checks and report issues to supervisors
- Complete daily timecards and project documentation accurately
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience required
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong mechanical aptitude and tool proficiency
- Flexible schedule including overtime and weekend availability
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
