Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, framing, and finishing work
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts, jackhammers) with proper certifications
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and site-specific regulations
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
- Maintain clean, organized job sites with proper waste management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electricians, plumbers, supervisors)
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of verified construction labor experience
- Valid OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions
- Class B CDL license with clean driving record (preferred)
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and construction equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision workmanship
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Flexibility to travel between Ohio and Florida project sites
