Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and material handling with precision
- Operate heavy machinery including forklifts, excavators, and power tools
- Maintain strict OSHA compliance on all job sites
- Assist carpenters and masons with foundation and framing work
- Perform daily equipment inspections and safety checks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
- Participate in hazardous waste disposal protocols
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Basic math skills for material calculations
- Flexibility to work nights/weekends for critical deadlines
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Physical stamina to work in extreme weather conditions
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
