Responsibilities
- Execute physical construction tasks including excavation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and OSHA regulations on all job sites
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Collaborate with carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople to meet deadlines
- Maintain clean, organized workspaces and proper tool maintenance
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance and compliance with standards
- Operate machinery like forklifts, jackhammers, and power tools safely
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience required
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement calculation skills
- Strong physical stamina and manual dexterity
- Clear drug screen and background check required
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
