Responsibilities
- Assist skilled trades with carpentry, masonry, and concrete installation tasks
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely using proper techniques
- Operate hand/power tools including saws, drills, and demolition equipment
- Maintain clean, organized job sites while adhering to OSHA safety protocols
- Read and interpret blueprints to support project execution
- Prepare surfaces for construction activities (grading, trenching, scaffolding setup)
- Collaborate with supervisors to meet project timelines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- Valid O-10 Construction Safety Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of construction tools, materials, and safety protocols
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Flexible schedule including occasional weekend/night availability
