Responsibilities
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of complex plumbing systems, including commercial boilers, HVAC piping, and sewage systems, during night hours.
- Respond to emergency calls and after-hours maintenance requests with speed and precision to minimize property downtime.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all plumbing fixtures and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute installations and modifications accurately.
- Collaborate with the day shift team and property management to document maintenance logs and communicate necessary repairs.
- Ensure all work complies with local Los Angeles plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory and order necessary parts and supplies for ongoing night shift operations.
Qualifications
- Licensed Journeyman Plumber or Master Plumber certification in the State of California.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, specifically in commercial plumbing or night shift maintenance.
- Valid California Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to identify root causes of leaks, clogs, and pipe failures.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and technical aptitude.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in tight, confined spaces or at heights.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the position.
