Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely (hammers, saws, drills)
- Maintain clean, organized job sites per OSHA standards
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment
- Follow detailed instructions from site supervisors
- Participate in trenching, excavation, and demolition tasks
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout shifts
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
- Basic understanding of construction site safety protocols
- Punctual attendance and strong teamwork skills
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
