Responsibilities
- Execute precise excavation, grading, and foundation work per blueprints
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts, concrete pumps) safely
- Construct/install scaffolding, formwork, and structural supports
- Maintain strict OSHA compliance and safety protocols
- Assist skilled trades with material preparation and installation
- Perform site cleanup and waste management daily
- Read technical drawings and project specifications
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial construction experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Valid Florida driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds regularly and work in extreme weather
- Proficient with power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Blueprint reading and measurement calculation skills
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Must have own basic hand tools
