Responsibilities
- Assist skilled trades with material handling, site preparation, and equipment operation
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and project specifications
- Perform heavy physical tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying construction materials
- Operate hand/power tools and machinery under supervisor guidance
- Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality benchmarks
- Participate in daily briefings and contribute to problem-solving initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Minimum 1 year construction experience or willingness to complete paid training
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Valid California driver's license (required for equipment operation)
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials handling
- Strong work ethic with punctual and dependable attendance record
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and lift up to 75 lbs
- OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
