Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespersons with material handling, site preparation, and equipment operation
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA safety standards
- Operate hand/power tools and machinery under supervision (e.g., jackhammers, saws)
- Read and interpret blueprints to execute construction tasks accurately
- Perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and physically demanding outdoor work
- Participate in emergency response for on-site incidents or weather delays
- Complete daily progress reports and maintain equipment maintenance logs
Qualifications
- Must be available for weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday, 6 AM - 6 PM)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
- OSHA 10-hour certification (training provided)
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions precisely
