Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, trenching, and debris removal
- Operate hand/power tools safely (saws, drills, jackhammers, etc.)
- Assist skilled tradesmen with material handling and equipment setup
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and site regulations
- Perform concrete work (pouring, finishing, form-setting) as needed
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Collaborate effectively with diverse teams on fast-paced projects
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of construction/labor experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Colorado Springs
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for early start times (6 AM)
