Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) safely
- Maintain clean, organized job sites per OSHA standards
- Read blueprints and follow supervisor instructions precisely
- Perform heavy lifting (up to 75 lbs) and physical tasks in all weather
- Participate in safety briefings and hazard reporting
- Complete daily equipment maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Physical stamina to work 8-10 hour shifts
- Willingness to obtain OSHA-10 certification (provided)
- Reliable transportation to job sites
