Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks and job sites.
- Site Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks and setup.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris to ensure a safe environment.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction machinery, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or jackhammers, under direct supervision.
- Physical Labor: Perform digging, mixing concrete, hauling materials, and other manual labor tasks as required.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety regulations, construction site protocols, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Driver’s License: Must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation to the job site.
- Experience: Prior construction or labor experience is a plus, but not required; we offer on-the-job training.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, hardworking, and willing to work overtime, weekends, and in various weather conditions.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
