Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling the ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual labor.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction tools and equipment, ensuring they are used safely and maintained properly.
- Assist Skilled Trades: Provide support to carpenters, electricians, and plumbers by preparing materials and helping with assembly tasks.
- Cleanliness & Safety: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and site protocols.
- Measurements: Assist in measuring and cutting materials to required specifications under the supervision of foremen.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidates.
- Physical Stamina: Must be physically fit and able to perform strenuous manual labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work a full-time schedule, including weekends if necessary.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors on the job site.
- Valid ID: Must possess a valid driver's license or state ID and be legally authorized to work in the United States.
