Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and stack construction materials, tools, and equipment on and off trucks.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks on the job site.
- Operate heavy machinery and power tools as required by the site supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site by removing debris and adhering to safety protocols.
- Excavate, backfill, and prepare construction sites for building projects.
- Perform basic measurements and assist with blueprint reading where necessary.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physically fit and able to perform heavy manual labor for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50+ lbs.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
