Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily on-site tasks and operations.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site safely.
- Operate heavy machinery and equipment, including forklifts, skid steers, and jackhammers, following all safety protocols.
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Follow blueprints and instructions to ensure accurate and high-quality construction standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Perform basic site cleanup and waste disposal duties at the end of each shift.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including heavy lifting (up to 50+ lbs).
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and at heights when required.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety procedures is a plus but not required.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work well within a team.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
