Responsibilities
- Perform general construction tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, and framing
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers)
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Read and interpret basic construction blueprints
- Complete daily progress reports
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Willingness to obtain required certifications (provided)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
