Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with site preparation, material handling, and basic construction tasks
- Perform cleanup and debris removal at job sites to maintain safety standards
- Operate hand tools and power equipment under supervision (training provided)
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow verbal instructions from supervisors to execute daily work plans
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines at all times
- Support various construction phases including framing, concrete work, and site finishing
Qualifications
- No experience required – all training provided on day one
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods)
- Valid driver's license preferred but not mandatory
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Jacksonville
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
