Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual labor.
- Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (electricians, carpenters, plumbers) with daily tasks and project needs.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Measurements: Assist in measuring and marking areas for cutting and assembly.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience in construction labor or general labor is preferred but not required (training provided).
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work in various weather conditions.
- Documentation: Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass a background check.
- Tools: Familiarity with basic hand and power tools is a plus.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends or overtime as needed.
