Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams to determine wiring layouts
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Diagnose electrical issues using specialized testing equipment
- Manage inventory and order necessary materials for projects
- Train junior electricians on safety protocols and best practices
- Collaborate with contractors and clients to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid Nebraska Electrician Journeyman License (or equivalent)
- OSHA 10-hour certification required
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools (multimeters, clamp meters, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
- Weekly pay availability and punctuality essential
