Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and control systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications to ensure accurate installation.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex electrical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure project timelines are met.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License in the State of Wisconsin.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of electrical theory, circuitry, and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Skills: Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment (multimeters, voltage testers) and hand tools.
- Physical: Ability to lift heavy materials, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
- Transportation: Valid Driver's License and reliable personal vehicle for job site travel.
