Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan installations.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently and accurately.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Communicate effectively with clients and project managers regarding project status and requirements.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License required for Virginia.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of verifiable professional experience in electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and blueprint reading.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
