Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Supervise junior electricians and coordinate with construction teams
- Manage project timelines and maintain accurate documentation
- Conduct safety inspections and implement preventive maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Indiana Electrician License (Journeyman or Master)
- 5+ years of commercial electrical experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Proficiency with conduit bending, power distribution, and VFD systems
- Strong knowledge of NEC and local building codes
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various environments
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
