Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial/residential settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and Virginia state regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using diagnostic tools and testing equipment
- Lead project teams and coordinate with subcontractors
- Train apprentices and junior electricians
- Prepare detailed work reports and documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Virginia electrician license (Journeyman or Master)
- 5+ years of hands-on electrical experience
- Proven expertise in commercial and residential installations
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety protocols
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
