Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine the layout and wiring of electrical circuits.
- Perform thorough inspections of electrical systems to identify hazards, defects, and necessary repairs.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical problems efficiently and accurately.
- Prepare and submit accurate time and material reports for project tracking.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to OSHA safety standards.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman or Master Electrician License (Indiana) is required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to read and understand electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Physical stamina to work in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
