Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Site Assistance: Assist skilled tradesmen (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various on-site tasks.
- Tool Operation: Operate hand and power tools safely and maintain them in good working condition.
- Site Maintenance: Perform general cleanup of work areas, including debris removal and waste disposal.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols at all times.
- Measurement: Measure, cut, and fit materials such as wood, drywall, and metal as directed by supervisors.
- Heavy Lifting: Lift, carry, and position heavy objects as needed for construction projects.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Must be physically fit and able to perform manual labor for extended shifts in various weather conditions.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality and attendance is essential.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Safety Training: Familiarity with OSHA safety standards is a plus.
- Availability: Must be available for part-time shifts, including weekends if required.
