Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Ensure compliance with NEC and local building codes
- Diagnose electrical faults using testing equipment
- Manage project timelines and material inventory
- Train apprentices on safety protocols and best practices
- Provide exceptional customer service and job site documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Virginia electrical license (or reciprocity with NC)
- 5+ years of hands-on electrical experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Flexibility for emergency call-outs (after hours/weekends)
- Knowledge of energy-efficient systems and smart home technology
