Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential/commercial plumbing systems including leaks, clogs, and pipe replacements
- Install water heaters, fixtures, and backflow prevention devices per Massachusetts plumbing codes
- Perform emergency service calls with rapid response times
- Inspect plumbing systems for compliance with safety regulations
- Maintain accurate service logs and customer documentation
- Train apprentices on best practices and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Massachusetts Journeyman Plumber license required
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on plumbing experience
- Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools and heavy equipment
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
