Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine the layout of wiring and other electrical components.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
- Ensure all work is performed safely and efficiently, adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools.
- Provide estimates for electrical projects and communicate technical information to clients.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license required (State of California).
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Ability to read and understand complex blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
