Responsibilities
- Execute precise concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks per blueprints
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, forklifts, and jackhammers safely
- Install and maintain scaffolding, formwork, and temporary structures
- Perform daily equipment inspections and site safety compliance checks
- Collaborate with electricians, plumbers, and welders on multi-trade projects
- Read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA standards
- Assist in material inventory management and waste reduction protocols
Qualifications
- 3+ years of commercial/residential construction experience
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required
- Valid Illinois driver's license and clean driving record
- Proficiency with power tools (saws, drills, grinders) and hand tools
- Ability to lift 75 lbs repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement calculation skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Flexibility to work nights/weekends on urgent project timelines
