Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up equipment, and ensuring safety protocols
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy machinery including jackhammers and forklifts
- Load/unload construction materials and distribute to designated work areas
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling and site setup
- Perform general cleanup and waste management according to OSHA standards
- Read and interpret basic blueprints to support project execution
- Maintain accurate daily logs of materials and equipment usage
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience required
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Knowledge of concrete pouring, rebar placement, and formwork setup
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and accident prevention
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
