Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair complex electrical systems in commercial/industrial facilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Perform emergency troubleshooting during off-peak hours with minimal disruption
- Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and local electrical codes
- Mentor junior technicians and maintain detailed service records
- Conduct preventive maintenance on high-voltage equipment
- Collaborate with facility managers to optimize energy efficiency
Qualifications
- 5+ years commercial electrical experience with night shift preference
- Valid Texas Electrician License (Journeyman/Master)
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Proficient in conduit bending, motor control, and PLC systems
- Ability to lift 50lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong diagnostic skills with multimeters and test equipment
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
