Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot complex electrical systems in commercial/industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure strict compliance with NEC, OSHA, and Massachusetts electrical codes
- Perform emergency repairs during off-hours with minimal downtime
- Mentor junior technicians and maintain detailed project documentation
- Conduct preventative maintenance on high-voltage systems
- Collaborate with project managers for seamless shift transitions
Qualifications
- Valid Massachusetts Electrician License (Class A/B/Journeyman)
- Minimum 4 years commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Proven expertise with PLC systems, VFDs, and motor controls
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Strong diagnostic skills for emergency troubleshooting
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure night shift environments
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as needed
