Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial/industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting on complex electrical circuits
- Ensure strict compliance with NEC, OSHA, and local safety regulations
- Collaborate with engineering teams on large-scale energy projects
- Document work orders and maintain detailed service records
- Train junior technicians on advanced electrical techniques
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Valid California Electrician Journeyman License (required)
- OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training
- Advanced proficiency in PLC systems and VFD troubleshooting
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong diagnostic skills for high-voltage systems (480V+)
- Flexibility to work extended night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
