Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial/industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced diagnostic tools
- Ensure strict compliance with NEC and California Title 24 codes
- Coordinate with project teams during critical night shift operations
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical panels and distribution systems
- Document all work with detailed reports and safety documentation
- Mentor junior technicians during overnight assignments
Qualifications
- Valid California Electrician License (Journeyman or Master required)
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Proven expertise with 3-phase systems, VFDs, and PLC programming
- OSHA 30-hour certification and CPR/First Aid certified
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Reliable transportation and availability for 12-hour night shifts
- Strong troubleshooting skills with minimal supervision
- Experience with scissor lifts and boom lifts (certification preferred)
