Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Operate hand/power tools for excavation, material handling, and demolition
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Follow blueprints and supervisor instructions for task execution
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to OSHA standards
- Assist skilled tradesmen with material preparation and site setup
- Complete daily equipment maintenance checks and safety reports
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols and PPE usage
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow verbal instructions
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings/weekends
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
